Wedding favours are the special thank you’s that we can present to all the guests as a memento of your marriage

Your wedding day is one of the most important events in your life and every bride wants to do something different on the day to stand out – I know I did and wore red gumboots for part of the day (red is my favourite colour and I don’t do heels!)

By working with Sandwick Bay candles we can create a bespoke wedding candle favour that is unique to you and your groom. We can work together to choose a fragrance, design of the label that matches your wedding colours and even a unique candle container. We can choose something that fits your wedding theme, something that reflects your personalities, and of course something that your guests will love and want to take home with them.

I have had the pleasure to work with a number of fantastic couples this year so far and wanted to share 3 of the stories so far.

Donna and Murray – 19th May 2017 at the Kingsmill Hotel, Inverness

Donna had designed her own wedding invitations and wanted to have this design flow through to the wedding favours. We decided on using the small tins with the wedding label on the lid. Three of the current Sandwick Bay candle fragrances were chosen: black raspberry & vanilla, pink champagne & pomello and sandalwood & vanilla.

thank you so much for doing our wedding favours. I loved being able to give our guests a favour that represented where I was born and brought up. Our guests were absolutely delighted with them too – Donna Graham

Alanah and Chris – 24th June at Achnagairn Castle, Scottish Highlands

Alanah got in touch with me in March 2016 as being from Point she wanted something from home for the wedding favours. Over the next few months we worked on the label design with Ros O’Donnell with the colours of the label matching the bridesmaid dresses. After meeting for coffee the fragrances were decided on – favourites cassis & fig and black plum & rhubarb. The wedding was held at the beautiful Achnagairn Castle just outside of Inverness.

Thank you so much! It was such a wonderful day and there were lots of compliments about the candles so thank you very much – Alanah

Laura and Andrew – 30th June 2017 at the Caberfeidh Hotel, Stornoway

Laura and Andrew got in touch with me after seeing my display at a local wedding fayre in February 2016. It was a pleasure working with this couple and they were excited to have one of the new summer fragrances – pineapple crush – as part of their wedding favours. The label was designed with the wedding stationary in mind as a close friend of Laura’s had designed the wedding invites. We used the same fonts on the labels and they looked beautiful on the table.

We would you like thank you very much for doing our ladies favours for our wedding on 30th June. They were so beautiful and dealing with you was a pleasure. Would definitely recommend. Thanks again, Andrew & Laura xx
